Thank you for your time.Well first using the silicon moulds i made a ages ago I pour in some resin and let it harden for 48 hours. I've added some gold colour but it hasn't come out as i'd hope. In future I'll be trying to use gold pigment powder. Once ready I take out the mould and cut off any unwanted access. I used scissors and a small file to smooth it down. Using a small vice and a hand drill I drilled a 1mm whole all the way through. Make sure you center the drill properly or you'll come out the back instead of going all the way through. This piece needs to be gold so i gave it a coat of Gold Liquid Leaf. Letting it dry on one side then turning it over and painting the other side. I gave it 24 hours to dry. Once the paint is completely dry I put in a long head pin and then dipped it in varnish, letting the access drip off. Leave it to dry to at least 48 hour. Once that was dry I added three plastic pearl beads and hooped the end. With that done i just add small jump rings and the earrings hooks and it's finished. Sailor Moon earrings. Now i just need to test it's durability. I'm still hoping to make a better pair in the future but I hope that this has been informative and helpful and give you a better understanding of how I make some of my jewellery. Thank you for reading. :)
